What a great experience! Our guide gave the tour in English and it was very informative. An extremely old mine with a ton of history!

We visited the mines with our daughters (11 and 6 years old) and it was a very exciting experience for all of us. He had a guide who spoke English and showed us the place. You get in the experience from the begining because you have to dress with a coat, a helmet, a torch and a pair of rain boots. The visit is really interesting.

For the 1.5 hour the tour takes, it is packed with information. You only walk for about 1 km. There are some stairs, but they are optional. Our tour guide (Michael) could really deliver his message in an interesting way for everyone: adults and kids. We really had fun.

Wow what an amazing experience this was. We have been here as a family with children. 8, 11 and 13 years. It is wise to make a reservation. A maximum of 3 groups of 15 people are guided around the mine per day, accompanied by a guide. Despite the difference in spoken language, the guide involved all the children in his story. That really deserves all the praise. You will be provided with a helmet, jacket and boots in advance. Only the helmet is mandatory. Boots and jacket are advisable. Really worth a visit here when you visit the beautiful Black Forest.

Great leadership. An experience for young and old. Everything was explained very well and in an exciting way. We were there with our children (6-10 years old) and everyone had a lot of fun. There is also a large guided tour (not suitable for children and seniors) that is much more extensive and takes you longer and deeper into the pit. Certainly also recommended.
